So Its been a crazy journey that has lead me where Ive been to here.

Quick Picture-refresher-course:

Car 1: The Slut. Paid $600, invested quite a lot. This car was my baby...

Before:

During transformation:

In Her Prime(Left, duh.):

Sold as (in the end, i made a substantial profit, i'll add.):

Car 2: The Scraper.

Before I got to her:

Just after swapping most of the parts from the first car:

In her prime:

The end of car 2: Rear-ended by stupid girl who also tried to run. Approximate speed: 40mph. caught up to the b****, insurance payout: $1200.

Car 3: The Sunsetter. Paid $1100, eventually was beaten to all hell, and then finally broke down while doing a weaksauce 20mph near my buddy's house. Cause of death: Camshaft snapped at the timing gear.

First night:

In her prime:

No picture of her after she was destroyed. =/

Car 4 Was a $50 parts car that donated her 5spd to Car 3.

Car 5: The Lexo. Paid $1800. Invested quite a bit more.

Car 5's automatic transmission took a fat sh** on itself within a month of purchase. I lost quite a bit of money on that stupid POS. Sold: $1000.

Car 6: The Mazdarati. Paid $700

Invested a very small amount of money and time into the sound system just a couple weeks before she had decided it was her time to depart:

Cause of death: Come on, take a guess.

Apex Seals.

This leads us to the current beauty... I finally (my parents, actually...) got tired of buying cheap cars that were old and on the verge of their deaths...=================[Edited for clarity: I should have typed that as "I finally got tired of (My parents, actually, got tired of me...) buying cheap cars that were old and on the verge of their deaths..."]=================

Parents cosigned a loan, My payments are $400/mo, insurance is $255/mo ive got a 3 year warantee on everything except powertrain, =/ and yes, i AM paying for it, I dont want to hear any B.S. about being spoiled. Ive worked my a** off and paid for everything since I was 14, so don't even go there.

2005 Nissan 350z, base model, 55K miles. i believe the price in the end after all of the 7.9% apr and everything is going to come out to about $23K.

I love this f***in car, its so f***ing awesome.

Sorry for s***ty Night pics, its all ive got for now.

enjoy!

z's are nice. my buddy had a base model just like yours and even for a base model they are pretty loaded with all the gauges and they pull pretty hard.

Welcome back dude. I haven't seen you in forever. I read through all of your build threads and it sucks that all of those cars took a s***.

Ehhh... because I rarely used to post in Gen so nobody there would even recognize me, and this is where I used to dwell all the time... plus, there is 3 240's in my original post, vs 1 mazda, 1 lexus, and 1 350z.... The 240 gets the majority lol

Yeah... really, the cloth seats might not be leather, but they're still extremely nice. My god is this car comfortable... and fast. I'm re-learning how to drive due to the serious increase in power. I have to become a lot easier on the clutch and less violent with shifts... so as to not chirp the tires going into 2nd. and downshifting..

yeah.. well its largely my fault, i never really checked them out well enough to make sure it wasnt going to be a mistake... the lexus, i should have known. the whole transaction, from the price, to the location, the owner, it was all sketchy as hell.

The vert, she just got beat on a lot.

the 1st car, which was the nicest of all of them... is the only one that i made a profit on... and its also the only one that is still, to this day, rockin.

But its all good, i love this damn Z.

Its barely doable for me though, i work at Chilis, so everything I make i have to save now in order to be able to afford everything. my phone bill is $70 so that brings it to $725/mo... paychecks are usally about $250 every 2 weeks, so i make $500/mo in hourly, and then tips. my goal is to make at least $20 a night, (i work take-out) 6 days a week, is about 500 more.

if i can make that happen, $1000-$725= $275... and the way I drive, that $275 goes straight out the dual exhaust as Gas byproducts.

Congrats on the Z. You were definitely not lucky with your previous cars though.

So when can we expect the white shag carpet dash in the Z?

Oh no you di'int!

Nahh im doin this one up CLEAN.

.....Bright orange neon anywhere i can make it fit, 26"s, six 15's in the trunk, and this awesome 57" GT wing I saw at Kragen!

...Just kidding. Right now I'm just trying to figure out how I want to do subwoofers... there's 3 options that I am weighing out, and I've yet to come to anything that resembles a decision.

and I am contemplating some change in lighting. a small part of me wants to do some dim floor lighting... not really like neon, but some kind of an LED system that's not overly bright.

and I badly want wheels but the only priority i have is to be able to make all of my payments on time, every time. So we'll see how long it takes me to actually even do anything with this thing, lol

It feels amazing to be back, I honestly have to say I've been incomplete without NICO in my life... clublexus and rx7club SUCK in comparison!
