Well it depends by relocating to the throttle body if you have a blow off valve not recirc it wont stall. thats about it.

Relocatin the maf to where??? What are you trying to do?

If you want to run the maf inline, then you need to be tuned accordingly. But by your description, Havent a clue what you want to do...

Well moving the whole intake tube away from running over top the radiator is a good idea, but you will have to relocate the battery as well...

I don't really see any easily measured or noticed gain in a stock system other than it's just a better engineered system.

Haha I think Lonismos is the only one that understood.

Dattebayo, he'd probably relocate the battery regardless due to fmic piping.

There isn't really any pro or con, just that you can vent to atmosphere without worrying about stalling. A possible con is your MAF will see hotter air, thus wearing out the element faster. It could also be exposed to oil if your turbo is leaking, but if oil is getting that far through the intercooler piping you have more to worry about than your MAFS.

I understood, but most people keep the MAFS right there where the battery tray is, leaving no room for even a smaller battery because of the connectors and wiring. As long as it's around 12 inches away from the TB, the readings won't get effed up.

I remember that if you do relocate it if you blow off a coupler you won't be running pig rich and not stalling out as well. Just trying to find out more info about because i want to know if this is a better route to go with. It's gonna have an N62 MAF, 550cc injectors, T28, and an AFC neo.
