Relocating Fuel Pressure Regulators

I am trying to clean up my engine bay a little more than I have and was wondering if it would be possible to relocated the factory FPR's to a different location other than on top of engine. I was curious if they have to stay close to the fuel rail? I am hoping to be able to leave the fuel lines hooked up when I remove the upper plenum.

im pretty sure you cant but what you can do is delete that mess of fuel hardlines on the back of he plenum... search around on here someone has done it before
