relocating battery???

ok so i have to replace my alternator cable so i decided just to go ahead and move the battery to the trunk in my s14. im going to use the ciruit breaker in the engine bay like in this thread zerothread?id=136906 but the only question i have is what do you do with the old power wire?

it should connect to the circuit breaker
