Well I am looking for pros and cons of getting a smaller battery and relocating battery. This is how much space i am working with.

Miata battery works just fine for that space, or you can relocate.

While the relocated battery is "JDM TYTE, YO!" and looks neato, it would be best to just get a smaller battery. I wish I had gone that route.

Early model Miata is what I referenced to when I got mine from Autozone. You could always just say "oh that one is too big" and have them chase down another one.

i dont like relocating it to the back. long wires and crap. and also that battery tray is all rusty and ugly. look at JGS project car, he has a very small battery that fits good sideways. i personally use a civic 51r battery and turn it diagnol, snug fit. mostly because the BOV gets in the way though so yeah.

I'd say relocate--not worth it trying to squeeze a battery in there....

besides, the best benefit of relocating? It removes 30 lbs fron the front, and adds 30 lbs to the rear....better weight distribution....

Ya' know.. You people either complain that newbs, or regulars, don't search. Or you complain that they bump old threads. It seems to me that at least the people are searching around to stumble upon these old threads.Or the said 'retard' could have made a totally new post, and you could have flamed him. Either way, I think people get it pretty rough on here.

Yeah, I'm seriously considering adding a "Yes I searched" line in my signature to save me the trouble of typing it every time I start a new thread to prevent being flamed. The flaming for not searching is out of control on this site, and a lot of the time, the topic the noob is asking about really isn't covered as well as the people flaming him think it is, but of course they rarely bother to check.
