I really love the look of this car, it's just sexy! My question is, how reliable is this car? Any common and known issues? If I were to buy one with 100k miles, what should I look out for? Or should I avoid this completely?

That's a tough call. There are not a lot of verts out there with 100k on them. The reliablity of the vert engine and transmission wise will be the same as the non vert. The top has a lot of moving parts.
