relays keeps blowing..what else could it be..

the relay is called 75A ALT...it keeps blowing and when i replace..it blows again. This causes my lights, gauges, turn signals, radio, and A/C to cut off...it will go out for awhile then come back on..but thats on a new relay..i live in dfw texas and need to either find someone good to do a dianostic or if theres something small that keeps blowing the relay and someone here can help me...please let me know

assuming you have a ka24e. Check your harness at the end of the valve cover see if its worn through at the bottom of where it bends to go up to the fire wall. it would be rubbing through on a 10mm bolt at the end of the valve cover. You obviously have an intermitten short.

yea i have the ka24e..but when i went to look at back of valve cover..i wasnt sure what to look for...can you be more specific..sorry bout double posts...need to get this fixed asap to pass emissions
