Relays click when they get power. Your ignition relay doesnt have anything to do with starter. Do you have a theft warning relay? Not sure if that is standard. The power is coming from ignition switch and then to interlock relay. You will have to find out how far the power is getting to know what component is faulty. THere is also a clutch interlock switch on your clutch pedal that needs to be checked.dgms240 wrote:ok, i think ive narrowed my starting problem down to a relay. first off i have a 95 240sx se 5spd. theres no power getting to the starter when i turn the key. i hear a small click from the drivers kick panel. my question is do i need an ignition relay or a starter cut-off relay. these are the two that they had at napa. also i know where the ignition relay is located, but where is the other one?
