I'm on a few political forums, and this one is by far the touchiest, with the largest quantity of removed posts, edited posts, and people calling each other out for doing this or that or saying this or that.

Calm down.

Yup. Good to see you here, Jesda.

People here are still learning how political forums go. Try the abcnews.com political forum sometime - 90% are bomb-throwing trolls.

There will always be hecklers, because many people think that's what constitutes political discussion - kinda like trash talking - whoever has the funniest slams, wins. Can't really blame them, since media news is headed that direction.

But there also will always be those that are interested in testing their beliefs against the opposition. I've changed my stance many times over the years because of the impeccable logic and data someone in the opposition presented to me. I try to do the same for the opposition. I also try to apologize when I've truly offended someone.

Political discussion is just different, but it's manageable.

I'm just done posting in this forum because I'm sick of repeating myself and I'm sick of trying to make ignorant short sighted people see the big picture.

I won't even get into the bias post deleting.

I have not yet encounterd a single individual in this forum that I would not, after a heated debate, go have a beer with.

Now, whether or not I sneak out and stiff them with the check is still subject to speculation.

I have seen worse.

I once got banned for posting a difference of opinion.

In other places, people randomly post up large JPG's to obscure well though out posts... and these distractions do not get cleaned up.
