Regular gas causing bogging issues.

Anyone ever have this happen to them? My car only got premium until gas prices sky rocketed. Lately I've been putting in regular and I have a peppier ride (i'm guessing > BTU), but on idle i sometimes get shaking/bogging issues. Do any of you know if the ECU can get used to a certain type of gas? Should I just reset it and see what happens.

PS: you reset by pulling cable for 10 mins right?

my car used to do the same thing. the solution...find some better lower octane gas.
