Being 6'5" I was wondering the height of other regular cab owners and how comfortable the truck is for you? Any tricks to help you fit more comfortably?

I had a regular cab am 5' 8" so no issue but love my King Cab mainly was not leg room issue but sub woofer issue LOL Also in rain very little storage room in standard have heard the buckets from a path finder help some in regular cab. You can recline the seat better. If you have a bench seat try to get some buckets from a path finder or even lower seats and custom brackets from a car with lower profile seat

I have have been thinking about the subwoofer issue as well. Those all sound like good ideas, i'll have to look into some bucket seats and/or different brackets...Thanks!

I own a king cab, but I have driven my friends regular cab on occasion. He has a bench seat and it was quite difficult as is. I would have to agree, lowering the seat some how or swapping to buckets will help.

Btw, Im 6'6".

Hard body yrs 87-96 or so not sure exact yrs but they are direct bolt in. For a standard cab my but got buckets and we installed a single 12 sub in custom box in back in center without the seats hitting it. The buckets all the way back leaves enough room for a box just bigger than the 12 inch sub to fit in a large enough box to play great and I have 2 12's one with good amp is all you really need in a small truck, but I got a great deal on mine is only reason i went with 2 12's. A single 10 is even easier to fit in back center with buckets and again is more than enough bass for most normal folks

Awesome, you answered my next question. I was thinking of going with just a single 10 in a custom box and putting it in between the two buckets...

+1 I run a single ten on a 350 watt amp. Its plenty for such a small space if you have a good enclosure.

I was thinking it would be sufficient. What kind of set up are you running? Also where did you put it?

I'm 6'4", and i've done the swap from a bench seat to buckets and rails from a pathy. They acually sit higher in my truck, so I lst head room. I haven't tried it since I did the swap, but I had a 10" in a box that forced me to sit 2 notches forward. I couldn't stand it. My knees were crammed into my dash, so out they came and I sold them.

Despite the loss of head room how comfortable are the pathfinder seats?? I'm built like a monkey long legs and arms so I dont sit too high in the seat, just trying to clear up some leg room.

I love my pathy buckets, much better than the stock trucks buckets I swapped as mine were worn and cloth the ones I have are leather. My old hard body had bench and gave me a back ache after 1-2 hrs driving. Used to do a lot of service calls in computer biz, traded it in on a maxima. The buckets much better on the but and back and my pathy drivers side has lumbar support and a hinge for rocking the entire base back a bit. They came with heaters also but never hooked em up no need here in Alabama. Mine are manual, you may run accross power ones just get the wires and do some research as you may have to add some relays and stuff to make them work.

And making a enclosure with MDF is easy and cheap and will fit a 10" sub in between seats in back as not to mess with leg room.

my truck is static dropped 4.5/5 and it rides, well....like s***. The pathy seats have so much suspension and cushion, I sometimes forget how rough it truly rides til I hit a bump/bridge seam/speed bump/ DOT workers, etc and the dash pops and I can hear stuff rattle in the glove box.

I like the look of the lowered trucks but the ride and loss of ground clearance keeps me from doing it. Unless you have air bag system it is not worth it to me, but they look meaner low.

That is in the works for me. I am saving up money and parts for it. I can't wait to get it finished so I can drag and then raise it back it to ride home comfortably.

Yeah bagged you can adjust, for city driving ride low and cool, when hitting the dirt roads or needing ground clearance just PUMP IT UP. from what I have seen those systems are not CHEAP, but way damn cool, and useful.
