Regular Air Filter for 2009 Rogue

Has anyone replaced the Regular Air Filter and did you purchase them on line and if so where. Thanks

As far as I remember, some people bought them online. One guy kept having some bracket I think broken everytime he had his changed. There was some great illustations on how to do it. Perhaps, you should search for it or the moderators could find them.

I get mine from rockauto.com, they're much cheaper the dealer, and a lot of owners have reported buying them on ebay, those are the two main sources that I've seen reported on this forum.

If you use the search function, type "Rogue air filter" you'll immediately have access to the threads, although most are for the cabin air filter.

I use NAPA Gold filters... buy them at the local NAPA store. Very good quality and at $12.50 ea (US) they are less expensive than OEM Nissan.

There is only one way to insert the air filter cover/door. Get it the wrong way and it wont work.

There are basic air filter replacement instructions in your owners manual, pg 8-16.

There was some great illustations on how to do it.

I have never seen this. There are some great pics and how-to for the cabin air filter... nothing for the engine air filter.

I was at the dealer yesterday to have an oil change. I asked how much it would cost to install the cabin air filter and they quoted a price of $150. I thought the price was excessive. Is it very difficult to change the cabin air filter if I am not a mechanic ?
