just tossin this out there is seeing if anybody has had their crank reground and some spectaular failure followed after shortly .....pics for ur enjoyment feel free to post ur pooted engine as well!!

All depends on the machine shop and the assembly work. I have had built a few engines with reground rod journals with no issues.

+1 on that. If a crank is ground to the properly and everything is assembled correctly you will not have any problems. I have worked in machine shops and have installed groung cranks in countless engines without fail, all depends on quality of work. Most important step is to do your homework and find a reputable shop.

looks like my oll ka-t did after the rod bolts streched and broke. ive never had a problem with ground cranks, and if it was the crank i would think itll just spin the bearing. so im saying rod bolt failure or incorrect amount of torque. my .2
