So I'm considering getting a cam from PDM to go in my engine I'm rebuilding, but I had one question: would I have to get new hydraulic lifters too? As far as I've noticed, mine are in *decent* condition. But, I've read (on V8s) that when you rebuild you need new lifters or else you run the chance of the cam going flat.

Anybody have an idea?

i have never heard of that happening on a nissan.
