Hi group,

Allow me the opportunity to present Nor Cal's first independent DRIFT event!

NCDA Inaugural Open Track EventDrift training

Date: January 17, 2004Location: Thunderhill Park - Main track5250 Hwy 162Willows, CA 95988

Open track event focused on "Grip" driving, with an emphasis on learning the lines, and decreasing lap times,open to Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced entries on the East Loop.

On track drift lessons and practice on the West Loop, for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced entries.Beginner training on skidpad with J-turn, U-turn and 180 degree practice areas.

Maximum Entries: 80

Registration Deadline:December 19, 2003

Cost : $120 (pre-registration, ending 12/19/2003)

I have an 89 chev caprice police cruiser can I bring it and drift it? he he he.

Of course you can bring your Caprice! Any car, from a full blown race car to your neighbors grocery getter will work. No trucks, no open tops...

yea and my wife will shoot me. its her daily driver..lol I was j/p I dont see myself paying 120 bucks to learn how to destroy my wheels and suspension.

Well, if your wife might shoot you over it, yeah, I wouldn't enter. :D

But come anyway, see what its all about.

The event will be free to spectators. It will be alot of fun for everyone.

Will we need helmets for this event, if so will there be loaners we can rent at the event? Also what are the car requirements, mine has a crack in the windshield, will that need to be fixed before I can attend the driving school? thanks

Yes, helmets are mandatory. Thunderhill Park does have loaner helmets available for rent.
