Regional definitions of "mint condition":

California: Sparkling body, spotless interior, service history, runs well.

Illinois: Mild corrosion on wheel wheels, needs a vacuum, runs well.

Michigan: Plastichrome hub caps, damaged suspension, runs and drives. Was probably stolen.

New York: Bald tires, rust, faded paint, needs a jump to start. Asking price is 30% higher than Kelly Blue Book value. Seller refuses to negotiate and makes death threats in response to any offer below asking price.

LOL. I guess in New Yawk, when you say mint condition, "mint" could mean like a chewed up Altoid. "You gotta problem wi' dat??" :)

that sounds about right... I remember looking at a few cars from New Yorkers and thinking "how the hell did you get 'mint condition' from this POS?"

Yeah this is why I don't buy cars from New York. It's worth the road trip to get a decent car.
