refurbished tie rod ends

would it be possible to clean up an old tie rod end repack it with grease. (the right kind of course) and get some new boots?

just buy some new ones from spl, youll never have to worry about them again(at least not for a good long while)

Well I'm in the process of finding a job but i need tie rod ends so I'm looking for cheap. believe me if I had the money I would get the spls.

It won't really help. My stockers were totally old and busty looking, with the boots ripped off, and no grease to speak of, and I didn't even notice a difference after replacing them.

so you replaced the grease and the boot or just the boot? what tie rods did you end up getting?
