I have a 1991 sentra se-r and just picked up a 1995 200sx. Both have the sr20 but the 200sx setup is a little different when it comes to the intake and distrubutor. I want to swap the motor from the 200sx into the b13 style and i was wondering if any one had any suggestions. I was just going to use the b13 head on the newer block from the 200sx. Please help i plan on swapping real soon. O and if you think i should just use th 200sx, i know but it sucks that the whole cars body is like completely rusted through in places that are too much work or money to replace...bumer =) Thank you.

You could swap the entire engine or just the head, but you're going to need to make sure you have OBDI emissions equipment when you get done (assuming HI cares). You should be able to use the parts from the B13 engine to do that.

Yes. Since the body that the engine is going into is OBDI, it will be tested as such.

I suppose it'd also be possible to use everything from the '95 car and put the OBDII plug somewhere. However, when it came time to test, it would have to be explained what's up, and, depending on the laws in HI, that could be problematic.

Of course, if they just sniff OBDI cars in HI, you're good to go with just swapping everything over from the '95. Unfortunately, you'll have to do some work to make the '95 engine harness mate with the '91 dash harness.

Question...I just pulled the injectors and fuel pressure regulator from a Q45 and wanted to know if you can put them on the SR20DE motor and how much better the Q45's injectors and regulator are than the stock SR20's same components.

The injectors are 370cc high impedance, which I think is drop-in for a B13. Stock injectors are 259cc, so they're a good bit larger too.

I can't find info on the FPR, but you're probably better off with an adjustable one anyway.

so like i asked before the 200sx should drop in with no problems? Can you use the b13's entire wiring for the newer 200sx motor. I was jus going to drop the 200sx motor in and rebuild the b13's head because i hear the b13 head flows better and drop it on the motor later on down the line. O i also scored the Q45 throttle body and needed to know how to make it fit the Sr20?
