When all u guys jumped on me for no reason....and i LIVE here. Wel...i feel bad for you guys and your hard earned money. I was jus there(afterdark) today...i can give u guys some info i got...may help or may not..but i pass by that place almost everyweekend. Payce

that is interesting, especially how that moderator closed another thread about it saying "This isnt your *****ing ground, you can take it elsewhere."

you let him get business through the site, but when things go bad, the people who were tricked are just screwed?

I30 you dont know ****, ok? It is very easy to run your little mouth about conspiricy theories and coversup. I would suggest you take a step back, trust that the administrators are working on this issue.

I will give you a hint, mods only close the threads when the people that start them are not the ones involved in this issue.But since you are a sleep at the wheel, here is a thread that was not closed.

Yeah, I admit I am in a bad mood. I nearly got into an accident today because some cop didnt pull a person over in a safe place. When I went around the squad car I was nearly hit.

no, i dont know anything about this situation. I'm just saying, i dont understand why theres a lack of support for people that were involved in the issue. If he says 'this isnt your *****ing ground for losing your money', obviously, that person was involved.

wel....first off...im not tryin to start anything and i find this forum very helpful. But u have to realize, sometimes moderators are biased. They close threads according to their own opinion and not everyone elses. I was jus tryin to give a heads up on that other thread and moderators jumped on me like i stole their SRs... NO..i didn't know all this wuz gonna happen...but the long wait wuz kind of a foreshadow to all this. But like i said before...since i'm from around here...i can try to help..so if anyone needs some info..i mite be able to get them for u....payce

Look... we gave Adam an avenue to sell his product just like the other advertisers you see on the left... Enjuku, HT, MVP, Tire Rack, etc. etc. etc. ... it's only fair. Just because they advertise on here doesn't mean that we can control their every action. If you think After-Dark Tuning scammed people then fine... believe that. But don't believe for ONE SECOND that NICO has ANYTHING to do with Adam, Daunttless, or After-Dark Tuning. They are NOT one, they are two different and two individually owned entities. If you have a problem with After-Dark then solve it with After-Dark... don't drag it onto NICO where it doesn't belong.

Me and alot of the mods have been trying to help the people who have came to us for it. We've given them ideas and possibilities on our own good will. Frankly it's not our problem as a board, but we feel the need to help those that have been "screwed".

If you sell something on Ebay and the buyer doesn't pay ... do you immediately blaim Ebay?! NO.

We are MODERATORS on a ****ing internet board... we are no different than you or the other members on this board. I wish I could flip a magical button and have it all solved, but I can't! Instead we get to deal with nutjobs like you who wanna point the finger at the people who had abso****inglutley NOTHING to do with the whole mess!

We're trying to keep the flaming down to a minimum regardless if it's a NOOB or it's ADAM. It's fine for a customer to post their reaction... but it ALWAYS turns into everyone and their dog posting about how "I told you so" or "If I were you I'd kill him" kinda bull**** that we don't need, and it's AGAINST THE RULES!

END THE HIGHSCHOOL DRAMA BULL****! ENOUGH PEOPLE!

Silguy-Since it sounds like you a semi involved with this issue, you are free to share any info that you have collected for the benefit of NICO members.

Just remember that Mods and Administrators are human as well. We try our best to keep NICO a positive place for the Car Enthusiast. I honestly think that even though it seems like people were jumping on your back, they were trying to keep a war from breaking out on NICO and then spinning out of control over this issue. Please accept my apologies for what ever may have happened to you.

SilGuy, as moderators we have to make decisions. Often without knowing the whole truth. We don't have the luxury of calling 10 other mods trying to find out everything before we make a decision. By then it's already turned into a pro vs. contra slugfest.

At the time it was probably best to just remove the thread rather than letting it get to this. Whenever you have valuable info to post send it to a moderator... or have it Attn: Mod in the title. We can sticky it.

I30T, there is no lack of support. We've asked all members that are directly involved to be the only ones posting in the threads dedicated to this issue, and every other member to refrain from posting outside opinions. End of this discussion.

If you want to read info, don't blindly post here. Search for the latest info and you will find it. There are enough discussions ongoing. There is a thread dedicated to this very subject in the SR forum, and that is where you will find the latest on this topic, and there will not be additional threads brought up by outside parties who are not directly involved. If you want to help out those who are seeking justice, email them. If you would read the thread in the SR forum, you would see that all involved parties have their email enabled. That would be the appropriate method of contacting those involved.

Once again, as our Administrator AZHitman has said on many occasions, "unless you are a customer with a beef, don't post." Period. If you disagree with AZHitman, he has asked(in the SR forum thread) for you to email him. This is the current ruling from NICO admin, and it must be followed. Period. End. Finit. Goodnight.

nismo, if you read my second post, i said its not a conspiracy. I just said on that particular thread, it seemed hypocritical. you guys know me, im not gonna start fights and become anti-NICO and be a rebel with a stupid cause...

I'm saying i see that NICO got screwed by this guy, by letting him use the boards to make money... Not that the all-powerful forum moderators were in on it in a conspiracy.
