When I was shopping for a car, it came down to two cars, the Honda Fit, or the Nissan Versa. I picked the Versa for a LOT of reasons, I will post the plus and minus of bothe cars, but for now I'll give you a tast if two if no body has noticed this.

The Versa does has a Refresh mode like the Honda Fit, but it'S not advertised, ALL you Versa owners....take off the head restraint(s) on the fron passenger(s) seat, then push the seat all the way forward, now tilt the seat all the way back, and presto, you has what the Fit has REFRESH MODE, yes I tested it, I slept on it and it's Awsome!!! Give it a try!!

All car trunks have a spare tire at the bottom, and the floor of the trunks of all cars have a hardboard that covers the spare. In time like all my previous vehicles the board warps, bends up and stays like that, the floor of the truck is not flat anymore, you can't put heavy object like 18.9L jugs of water over it because it will bend in. BUT our VERSA is unique, in fact it's so well designed that It will never warp because they have a full hardened hi density foam, formed to the spare, with no movement, no gaps, thus it will not warp.

I will continue to add the +/- of these cars

Well, holy moley on a biscuit... I never thought of that... Haha! and my friend Shoshana was all like "well, two full grown people can lay flat in your car" well, yes they can. Maybe not quite as well as they can in a Ford Taurus Wagon, but who cares! It works!! (I tried to take a pic, but it's to dark here right now... what with all the freakin snow!)

I tried it out too! It's amazing what you find when you start paying attention A pillow would fit nicely into the a$$ grove of the back seat. It would make a nice sleep for those trips where you're just sleeping at a truck stop or Wal-Mart for the night.

Yeah, I took my pillow and my comforter and tried it out!! I'll need a little bigger pillow than I normally use, but I found it comfortable enough!! and my comforter is a down and it compresses so it actually fits under the passenger seat... Now if I can find a place to hide my pillow in the interior... hmm...

I think you have the take the head rest off the front seat on the Fit also so there's not much difference. I'll have to try this.

As an unrelated aside... I saw a 4 door Yaris today (more of a sedan) and I was relieved because I found that 3 door to be claustrophobic on the inside and uglier than sin on the outside... (just my personal taste) but I wonder if the Yaris does this magic trick as well, like is this the new standard of cars? or maybe just the subcompacts?

See, I tried this trick as well and maybe I was successfull but it doesn't seem that the passenger seat folds down completely, even with the headrest off and the seat pushed all the way up. It still catches on the rear bench. Is it supposed to do? Or were you guys able to get it to fold completely flat?

Yea, it's not a true flat but it's pretty close. You'll probably need to use a thick pillow or fold a body pillow in half to keep your neck straight because of how deep the back seats are.

I tried mine out on the passenger's side... I had to tuck the seat with my hand (like, run it over where the headrest sits to push that fold down ... does that make sense) but that's the only seat I've gone it on so far...

It works for both front seats, make sure to push the seat all the way forward, then push the back rest down past the rear seat. I can go 1 inch lower that the rear seat. (I have the 1.8 SL maybe the 1.8 S does not go all the way down???) The Honda Fit does not go flat, flat, but wavy, just like the Versa. I have pictures of it, I have to post them up when I have time, but trust me, try a little harder, it will go all the way down.
