hey guys i was looking into painting the headlights like in the tutorial. I was curious if anyone knew if there was a law on that orange reflector? I think it really kills the look and would it look ok if i painted it black as well? or maybe a glossy black even? haha

I believe it's a US regulation mandation that it's there. I'd double check the US DOT website.

well after 3 hours finally got the headlight out and decided it wasn't worth it and put everything back together. but now i have another problem the bumper isn't flush with the headlight now there is like a 2 MM gap between the whole thing just one the one side. it it flush on the side i didn't touch. anyone have any ideas what could have happened?

on the bottom of your headlight there is a piece connected to it tha has a little slot for a clip and your bumper has the piece that connects. Make sure that everything is lined up abd give it a nice shove. Lol

I tried this earlier today and I couldn't get the lens off of the plastic.

ohh thank you so much man. that was driving me nutz so bad. i had the bumper under the bracket and didn't realize there was a deep slot between. lol i was so pissed yesterday cuz the baking wasn't working and the dremel kept breaking cutting disks. so i gave up and thought i was going to have to live with the gap. phew...
