In anther thread I was discussing certain problems with ignition and start.A mention of possibilty of reflashing the computer. What exactly is that, and how much and how long does than usually take. I spent 549.00 to have a new Idle Air Control meter put on last Friday. The Mechanic(not at Infiniti dealership) assured me this would solve the problem. The car was actually worse after that and wouldn't crank. I had to have it towed back to mechanic. They worked on it several hours without being able to determine the problem.

A reflash is when the dealer flashes the ECU to the latest callibrations available from the manufacturer. It normally takes up to 1 hour.
