I've never heard of seen anyone use bondo on wheels... plus, I'd doubt they'd last... I mean, depending on where you live and how you drive, wheels can get pretty hot. anyways, regarding the scratch, how deep is it? I'd say take it to a wheel shop to fix it up.DMoreau wrote:I've got a set of factory wheels for my 2003 maxima and am working on refinishing them. Anyone have any advice on refinishing the wheels. One wheel has a deep scratch in the face of the wheel, I'm planning on just putting some bondo over it, any better suggestions. The most important question is what color to paint the wheel. It's a dark blue maxima. I'd like to paint them a darker silver color.
