any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated i was thinking of painting them bronze with polished lip and black lines in the groove of the wheel. The car they will be going on is a 90 alpine white hb also i have been trying to find the color code for the gold color on the bottom of two tone gold and white silvias i have searched but have come up with no results like i said im open to color options on the wheels so if you have any pictures of painted wheels please post them
1.) I would suggest it for even coverage and to keep it from chipping or flaking. (high temp. primer)2.)Duplicolor makes a great wheel spraypaint that is available in gold/bronze. Other options are automotive paint, and the best but most expensive will be powdercoating.3.)No, just keep some Mothers aluminum polish on the lip like wax and it will be fine. I would also recommend hitting the lip with a mothers powerball with some polish to get a good shine.4.) It would be a good idea to clear the part that you paint with a few coats, just to make it shine a little and to protect the painted surface. It also helps with cleaning. Duplicolor also makes a clear spraypaint for wheels you can find at Autozone.
