On the other yah** Q45 forum several members had uploaded pages from the service manual. Is there anyone interested in creating such a reference area on this forum. I believe we could have enough pages from the diferent generation Q's to be able to help owners of all Q45's.. Any feedback from moderators? .........................:thumbup

Kind of a waste in bandwidth [not to mention the cost of storage on server] since all manuals are available [to those who care to acquire them] Nissan thought enough to supply one with each Infiniti] --- plus we really don't have the legal right to COPY and republish.

This was put as an idea to colaberate on by members as a whole. Not to re-produce manuals, but to draw from others their pictures also to inform other members of the "What does it Look like" "How Hard is It to Repair". The example of Yah**'s pictures and excerpts. Bandwidth would not be an issue with pictures put in thumbnails compressed etc........:thumbup

Am I to understand that each Q45 was delivered with a workshop manual? If so, I'd think there would be a bunch of them floating around out there.I've looked a number of times on E-bay- never seen one offered.I bought a new one last week- $150.Anton

Anton,

Yes every Q45 was delivered with a smaller version of the shop manual in the trunk under the cover for the spare tire.

This holds true as a minimun for the 90-93's , and I think also for the 94-96 but am not positive about those.

94's has them. They are soft cover manuals. Very detailed in some areas and lacking in others. They were packaged in a covered box, much like early software. All in all, much better quality than I have ever recieved in any other car.

Found mine in package-shelf binacle between rear seatbacks.
