reducing engine compartment heat?

ok, so I removed the insulation between the firewall and passenger compartment since I gutted my interior. It gets mad hot now so I'm looking for ways to keep the engine bay cooler.

I'm trying to put off my Silvia front end conversion until most of my performance upgrades are done. (I'll go with a hood scoop design, maybe from chargespeed when I convert so it runs cooler.) I guess my only choice until then is a cowled hood??

Dumb question: where do I find the spacers and longer 14mm bolts?
