redtop tps compatible?

i have a s13 sr and i need a new tps, will a ka tps work? (single or duel cam?)

if enyone knows of this information plz let me know. iv already tried to search it and nothing helpful came up.

or even if somebody has an s13 redtop tps for sale, im intrested.

KAs use a post style TPS. There's a notched post that inserts into the TPS to rotate it with the throttle pulley. SRs use a flapper style where the throttle pulley pushes on a flapper attached to the TPS unit. So in short, not compatable

If you take the whole KA throttle body assembly, it will bolt up to the SR intake mani and the plugs for the TPS are the same. You will have to rotate one of the coolant lines to match up, though as the KAs point in a funny direction compared to the SRs

thx for that, but will a ka-de throttle body work on my sr?

or should i just go for the q45? cuz then i could just use the q45 tps right?

Try the search button and you would find that a 93 sentra se-r with the sr20de motor has a compatible tps if you have a 5 speed trans.

i dunno y i didn't think about the sentra sr20, that would make sence. it fits with no mods i assume.

yea ill try that on monday when the junkyards are open around here. i wonder if i can find an se-r in the junkyard.

well i was at the junkyards, no luck though...but i did find that some of the nx's has the sr20 as well...well im at work so i would throw more info in but i g2g
