redtop sr20det transmission short gear ratio, needs help how to upgrade

hi there this time i really need help to people that knows how to upgrade a transmission not just the engine.Anyway the redtop sr20det has short gear ratio,the question that i have how to make it or upgrade it to make it long gear ratio. Cos right now when i shift it, it will red line easily from 1st to 2nd gear quick around 4500 to 5000 rpm, i want it at least around 7000 to 7500 rpm ,how to make it like this or do i need to tune it properly or do i need to buy something for the transmission like gears.Pls. help me this time pls. no BS, thank you in advance to all of you guys.....................

Hmm...last I checked mine shifts at 7000-7500 rpm fine in all gears.

But if you just want a longer ratio, from what I read a while back the ka gearbox has a longer gear ratio.

the KA and SR transmissions are the same arent they?

but in any case, the z32 transmission is a good choice for taller gearing, and the Q45 diff has a higher final drive.

besides, power on the SR drops off after 5500-6500, so tuning it will probably produce power onward, but its nothing dramatic and costs plenty.

How does your car redline differ in different gears? Do you know what your talking about?

am its just that 1st and 2nd gear when i shift is short compare to 3rd and 4th gear, not really sure thats why im asking i need help in that what exactly to do when the transmission....

I think he means it redlines quiker in 1st and 2nd, than in 3rd and 4th.....?
