as well as other weird problems.

the car will sometimes idle (when warm) at 650 rpm, 500 rpm, or 750 rpm.

usually, if i give it a bit of throttle, i'll try to hit 750 rpm and it'll stay there for a few minutes.

sometimes, under braking, with the clutch in, the idle will fall to 500 rpm.

any solutions?

oh yeah, and my car's been hesitating when it's still semi-cold, where the temp gauge is past the first mark or so.

any possible solutions?

thanksssss

well buddy i feel your pain. my 240 suffers from the same affliction!im not sure what it is either. ive checked my entire fuel system and noticed a blocked fuel filter. check that since its cheap (12$). also check your idle settings.its the little screw on the throttle body to adjust.if ever u figue out what it is , let me know!!!

thnx

i haev the same problem on my KA24de..im guessing its just a leak somewhere, or like someone said, EGR.. but mine is removed..

i found two leaks the other day, cracked/torn hoses, and i replaced it.. still no good.. replaced battery.. helped a little..put sea-foam in my gastank, helped a bit..

still cold starts, hesistation.when i turn the wheel, or brake, idle drops a hundred or so.. cant be too great

Mine does the same thing. I have a 91 with the stock engine. I change the secondary ignition and it goes away for about a year.

secondary ignition?whats that?

today, i looked in my engine bay, near the throttle body, and saw one line disconnected..

im not sure what that was.. but it was similar to the line that comes out of the firewall (attached to the gas pedal) and connects to the throttle body, but the disconnected line headed to the pass. side of the engine bay into a big round rubber piece..anyone know what that might be?
