On a redtop SR engine, i noticed the ECU does not have wires for the low/high speed fan relay. All other ecu's, KA and s14 blacktops control the condensor fan through the ECU.

When engine temp reaches a certain point, the ECU will trigger the ground for either the low or high speed fan relay.

My question is, on the JDM s13 cars with redtop engine, what triggers the condensor fan when the engine reaches above 200 F??

This is EXACTLY my question and I am unable to find the answer ANYWHERE. Rather than starting a new thread on this , could someone answer this question please? Thank You

on one of my buddys S13 sileighty i noticed a little rod attached to the radiator pretty much like the ones that read the temp on your A/C and stuff let me ask my fellow friends here in my area and see if they know anything about that, but maybee it has its own thing that once it hits that temp it just kicks in not too sure though
