Ok heres the background info:

93 s13 with redtop engine. This is my first engine build and everything went smooth until wiring came into play. Mostly stock setup w/ 9:1 pistons, stock injectors and t25 turbo 7PSI, Z32 MAF, Enthalpy tune, and 264 BC cams.

Car wouldn't run so I replaced the entire engine and transmission harness with a WS one. Car is running now, idles great. It runs rich though, progressively worse as it gets warmer. Starts to bog down and becomes almost impossible to start, unless you hold WOT.

I have replaced the following:
ISIS z32 MAF
O2 sensor
Coolant temp
had my ECU repaired by Enthalpy (after wiring issue)

After running the car with the MAF unplugged and its nice and warm...it starts fine.
So is it the ECU or the MAF?

Ok, anyone with a Z32 MAF in the Tulsa area to help me trouble shoot? Free beer of course...

Maybe the problem is in ECU mapping, maybe it is tuned for oryginal MAF.

I thought this, I went ahead and sent both to R. S. Enthalpy to be looked over. We shall see...

Ok so Im in the process of finding a new wiring harness for the engine bay and/or the dash. The ECU and MAF were both fine and tuned correctly. I believe the problem lies in the ignition wiring... it was hot to the touch while the car wouldn't start. I know about WS but does anyone build new dash or engine bay harnesses?

AFAIK, nobody really messes with the main harnesses. You can snag one from a donor car. But those circuits were probably warm to the touch due to how much current runs through them during a repeated start attempt. The problem is usually a really simple one rather than a long, painful one.

Double check with Enthalpy what coolant temp sensor he programmed for. A buddy of mine had a similar issue, and it was the temp sensor because JWT programmed his for a redtop sensor, and he had an S13 blacktop sensor on the motor. It was just enough of a difference that he couldn't start the motor once it was warmed up.
