Redtop Paint code

Alright I got my Redtop SR last saturday and of course the paint on the valve cover is in pretty bad shape. Anyone know what color this is or what is a close match. I really like the color and want to repaint the valve cover in it. I'm actually thinking of painting the whole car in that color.

I recently went through the very same ordeal. Take the valve cover to any reputable paint shop and have them match it. Heres how mine came out:

damn, that looks great. Thanks for the idea. Any clue as to what the color is called, or is it just a mix that they did for you that one time.

I am Haveing the same Idea! Painting my Whole HB to be the same Red as the Red Top SR!

Sorry, no code. They said it was a Nissan color though. Nothing fancy.

probabyly a OEM red from Nissan.

I'm gonna have the blktop valve cover restored but going with a candy color black and get it done in powder coat.

damn i love that valve cover, i would love to one that good looking just to put on my wall. i cant believe how well that came out.
