I'm not the type of guy who hates one kind and loves another I got mutual respect for every class. But my first love has been domestics especially trucks, big ones with big lifts, don't get me wrong I love those fast lowriders too like a lightning - beautiful. However I've come across this thing right here and fell in love. Tell me what you think? I know redneck grow a mullet etc.

Lol, never seen such a funny truck in my life (I have seen lots of trucks... I do live in texas...). A Show Truck, thats a first to me.

5000 dollars, thats a pretty good deal though. I would like a truck to run over my neighbors with. and the occasianl offroadng ;) THe stickers on it are stupid though and the confederate flag is weird.

Well, I'm not sure about PA... but I promise you that truck WILL NOT PASS MASSACHUSETTES INSPECTIONS!

There is also a reason those 44" mudders aren't on the truck anymore... the engine is slightly built.... but not nearly enough to efficiently turn tires of that size. I have lots of frriends back in VT with trucks very similar to that... I can tell you that without SERIOUS FGR (Final Gear Ratio) reduction even the most stout and powerful V8 can't turn meat that big and still maintain drivability. Also... trucks that big suck in the woods. They are too big to fit anywhere, the suspension is too stiff to flex and maintain traction.... and they ALWAYS bust driveline parts! The only way to build a truck that bigis to swap in tractor axles.

It's a cool ride if you lack pen15 size... it makes up for it nicely. But it would suck for a daily driver, suck as an off-roader, and it is too old and ugly for a show truck.

I thought the 360 engine seemed a little weak, and a standard 8" lift should be able to pass inspection though.

Nice, I was also looking for a 80's stock f150 / f250 and doing it myself but I don't have the proper equipment lift and its a hell of a lot more money.

ANother thing I was wondering was about his brakes. Stock brakes wouldn't do that any justice (i think)

bah, truck brakes are strong as ****, plus those tires will slow themselves down.

Not a f'king chance!!!! And besides... it has a 3" body lift as well.

It's not that the 360 is weak... it's just not geared properly on that truck. It would be MORE than enough engine if the proper gear ratios were there. But the stock gears are meant to push tires that have about a 30" diameter... not 44". IF you threw a set of transfer case gears and ring-and-pinion gears on each differential you could easily lower the FGR to acomodate the larger tires. BUT.... that is expensive and this truck is pretty old to be throwing much more money into it. And again... the stock axles, u-joints, driveshafts, and differential are not stong enough to handle the big meats.

You'd really have to invest a lot to make it a decent truck for any purpose. It just looks cool... but seriously, Tino, that truck is impractical in EVERY WAY!!! Buy it if you want... but it looks like a useless money pit.

Huh... good theory... but there is a LOT of rotating mass to slow down.

I dunno Tino. Are you sure you want an old beast like that that will tip over in any emergency manuever over 25mph, get 5 mpg (when gas is closing in on $2/gal), and is as aero dynamic as a cinder block on stilts? It also looks too used to ever be considered a show truck. But, if that's what you want, give into your passion. Don't forget your confederate flag, Dale Earnhart #3 window sticker on the left, Dale Jr. #8 on the right, Yosemite Sam mudflaps, confederate flag, gun rack, diamond plate tool box, roll bar with 6 large fog lights, and the ever popular Bad-boy urinating on a Ford logo decal.Enjoy

I'm gonna need the fishing and hunting equipment in the back also. Nah I know that truck is no where near a show truck but it still is mean.
