what is the redline on the ca18 and the sr20?

I accidentally took mine to 8 in the rain yesterday. OOPS! A T25 will be out of its efficency at about 6500, and the oil pump gets dodgy there as well. Keep in under 7. This ain't no rotary;)

True, im saying redline, as in dont think about going higher caus you might break something.

I do 8700rpm and have yet to have broken anything. If you don't have the turbo, there is no need to go past 8000rpm. the Sr shouldn't exceed 7500rpm, unless you have a replacement for the broken rocker arms. Not a whole lot of power left in the CA18 after 7700rpm, but the remainder of the redline is very useable in terms of MPH.

mine hit about 9k today by accident with no ill efects, though it was only for a second ot two.
