where does a rb25det redline. in my 240 the actual redline on the tach starts at 6k, but i think the motor goes higher than that?

^ ownzed by spelling.spec is approx 6.9krpm for an rb25, rb20 is closer to 7.6k

redline as in rev limit, correct?

also, your stock tachometer mary or may not be accurate at that range...

Brand new autometer tach shows mine hitting limiter at 6600rpm. I always wonder about autometer stuff. Ill wait till i put my AVCR in to confirm how accurate it is.

stock turbo mine laid over at 6400. With the Precision 60mm It now pulls hard all the way threw 8000.

Yup Stock head, stock cams, stock gears, stock hydro lifters, and stock springs, The only thing I have changed is the exhaust side has been ported.I usually shift about 7800 flat shifting. I never lift.

stock tach is pretty accurate to be honest, when i modify tach's they're normally +/- 150rpm.
