Any of you guys that read the Q45 forum already know this. But BG44k has taken out the stuff that made it the best injector cleaner and Redline S1 still has it.I put a bottle of Redline in my tank before fillup yesterday and all I can say is WOW.Instant gratification.Idle is much smoother and throttle response is WAY better.Run to Pep Boys and spend 8 bux and you will see !!!

Breaks up all that crappola ethanol is causing.

LOL directions are on the bottle....if im not mistaken you put at least 1/2 the bottle and then fill up and then top off...and drive like speed racer until smoke stops coming out the exhaust....in a nutshell thats how it works

I didn't get any smoke. Its not like seafoam.I was down to about a quarter tank.Put the whole bottle in then filled up with Tier 1 Premium.I would think that's to help mix it all in.After that it suggest 3 OZ per tank for maintenance.

Lemme know if you notice a big differance Stevie. All we have here is 10% ethanol. Some thing it breaks up the junk on the bottom of the tank and clogs the fuel filter/injectors.

I just use Seafoam, usually. What is it that makes S1 better?

-- Rougly 55 mi into the tank... Main diff. I can tell is smoothed the idle a bit. Might be a slight power increase but I run Gumout or STP injector cleaner pretty regularly, so maybe she wasn't too bad to begin with. Anyways I like the idea of the 3oz maint program, It'll save me a few bucks over the long run. I will say that redline's website isn't the best, thing kept saying my credit card wasn't valid(it is), but the woman on the phone was really nice and extremely helpful. BTW No Pep Boys in STL.

-- The only place listed in stl as a carrier of si1 was a VW tuner shop that wouldn't answer their phone. Some other places were listed as redline distributors but they only carried the water wetter. It cost me 40 and change for four bottles after shipping.
