redline rpm droped no vct?

ive got a neo rb25det and ve noticed that my rpm has droped about 1k rpm from 7800 to about 6900 and my vct isnt kicking on anymore what mite cause this?

stock tune? if so your redline is 6900.

vct has nothing to do with rev limit.

Umm doesn't the VCT disengage at 4700 rpm or is the NEO different than the S1/S2 system? VCT is not VTAAAAAK

My neo redlines at 6900? Are you sure yours revved that high?
