Breaking in as in new engine, or breaking in as in you swapped it and hasn't been driven in a while? If it's new, what are the build specs on the block?
Typically you don't want to use redline to break in a motor. They recommend you to use a dino oil for the first 1500 to 2000 miles or 20-30 minutes on a dyno at low rpm. They tell you this to give the new pistons rings sufficient time to seat.
I would stick with the 10w30 for the initial break in assuming this is a newly built motor. Then switch it out for Redline at the recommended mileage.
