i had my car swapped from an automatic to a 5spd with my SR. Now that its a 5spd there is just a large opening in the console around the shifter. Is there a possibility that a boot can be made to fit that? I think I'm missing a part that is needed for the boot to stay in place. Ill try to get a pic or two tomorrow

You most probably need to buy a center console piece from a manual S13. That piece does indeed hold the bottom of the shift boot...

Here's a pic showing how well our light gray (piping, in this example) matches aluminum knobs, inserts, etc. This is brushed aluminum so it appears a bit darker than our leather. For non-brushed, the match is near perfect:

As you see our silver thread will also match alunimum very well. The outside thread is tan.

I have a C's short shifter on order, I was wondering if you've ever made a shift boot for a 240 with the C's short shifter, that way I don't have to wait till my order gets here(month and ahalf) to give you the specifications on how much shorter it is. I would like to place my order now.
