How many people out there are using Redline motor oil? Is the claim about 10,000 miles between changes legit? I drive my car so much, that I'm literally changing the oil every 8-12 weeks. Maybe 16 at the outside if I do lots of work close to home.

Usually for a turbo Motor one should only consider 50 weight oils like M1 15w-50 at leat in summer.

BUT the redline 5w-40 might be an exception as it HT/HS is as good as a 50 weights.

A very good oil and equipped with a good chemsitry as its group V base oil exceeds even Mobil 1's and AMSOIL stability (both group IV's).

Usually even in a turbo driven hard you can leave a group IV in for a while. My current SR fill ( Mobil1 15w-50) in a Greddy oil pan with extra capacity weill stay in for a full interval and not be changed prematurely.

Fred..:)
