No pics? How about RHD Subaru? Man, you got a lot of project cars. Do you still have s14? I guess that fabrication guy in Carrollton will do the work?

I think some events require a hardtop. I remember powerzamcampowboomkapowwhatever made a fiberglass one for their vert because of an event

Pics of the caged vert will be either tomorrow or thursday. I have been busy because of school and work. Also it is at a friends house.

No i do not have the s14 anymore.

The s13 truck project will be sold for $100 away to my friend, due to he has no car.

I will help him with the car but not spend a dime on it.

Yes it is true D1 requires a hardtop. Plus There is no soft top on this car.

RHD subaru may go to my gf depending if she has a baby or not. if not then I will sale it and SR the vert and suspension.

And all the fabbing will be done by my friend Eddie or myself.

I was debating of making this hardtop 2 pieces for example targa top or hardtop removable. (but thats unlikely)

Is this starbuck's old car? It looks awfully familiar. Last time I saw, it had Grenade wheels and cages. Is it or not, looks very promising...

It most certainly is.

My friend Joseph purchased it from him as a shell. Now he wants a hatch. Joseph pretty much sold it to me for some beer. Now I plan on finishing it.

Well it has been a while since I last updated. Have not really done much to the car, due to work and school.

Well I decided to work on the 5 lug install, since I really hate 4 lug.

So today my friends and myself decided to tackle on this small project. Here is late afternoon.

as you can see we parked in my oversized driveway to work on the vert.

my friend Tan (s14tan) cirilo (sc4cirilo) and tedd (i forgot his nico name)

we worked on a quick oil change on the sc400.

we unhooked the ebrake cables from the car and also disconnected the brake lines. luckily the weekend before I took out the s14 vlsd for my new dif(welded now) that was on my spare parts car.we quickly removed the old vert subframe, which was real easy with an impact.oil change was still happening, so we decided to advertise royal purple .

underneath the car is a bunch of dirt and grime. we pretty much put gloves and tied up the brake lines since they were just leaking.

here we are with the dif out and moving things around for work on the 5 lug on the front and the rear swapness. ( tedd on the far left, cirilo then lazy s14tan on his cellphone)inside the box on the bottom is my 5lug rears and fronts, as you can see, there is alot of car parts waiting to be installed or sold. such as a transmission, sr koyo rad, sr20det longblock, and my rear flares are shown.and a close up of the parts car. I finally decided to just make it into a cooking grill later on. but i did test fit my s13 fenders with the fender flares which will soon go on the vert.here we realize a few new things that happened where as we needed the 36 mm socket to take out the rear nut. since we plan on reusing the rotors, ( its 4x114.3 and 5x114.3) and then the swapping of the arms was in place just to mock things up.( we also notice the driver side rear axle was bad, so soon we shall take it from the parts car here we are finished with swapping things over, except the rotors and rear calipers and we noticed we still need to swap the rear ball joints. or just get new ones.here is a closer pic with mocked up purple subframe spacers. looks pretty. All is done almost except for when I have funds to purchase new aftermarket beefy arms.and my vert.....still chillin but it is a nice table to hold drinks and oil.a close up shot of the front fenders which will be on the car.the rear subframe w/ 5 lug now in my garage waiting for when its ready to go back to the vert.a picture of the sr and the complete rear end, and the welded dif.front 5 lugs w/ new s14 flca w/ s14 ball joints. lol the brake lines came with ABS sensors.dont mind the rust in the back, it was for the wiring harness/fuse box relocation/shrinking etc.i plan on sanding it down and painting over it. my welded dif.at work i decided to sand blast the whole dif. I will prob paint the pumpkin a whole different color, still debating on it tho.

but that is all right now. sorry about the grammar or spelling errors.

lol looks like my house! ppl freak when they see 3 or 4 cars all ripped apart and swapping parts around lol. Nice progress did you have your subframe powder coated or is it just cleaned up and painted? can you take a pic of where your rear bars are welded in for your cage? the ones near the rear shock's

Hate to see a project not come to fruition. Hopefully someone else will see the potential and save it.
