the reason it is called a strawberry face is cause the number 15 in Japan sounds like the word strawberry......btw

no sorry that's wrong.

Its because 1 and 5 put together in japanese sounds like "ichi-go" or strawberry. Not because of Fifteen. Fifteen in japanese is "juugo".

The reason is in Japan when people refer to the chassis codes, such as S15, they say S-1-5 (S-one-five), not S-15 (S-fifteen).

Just as an update...I called Heavy Throttle about a clip two days ago and that $2650 price is BULL****. They're asking $3100, but haven't changed it on their site. So...Dauntless is DEFINITELY a $HITLOAD cheaper now. Not sure if this rise in price is due to a different source or what, but that's what they quoted me...without shipping.

well, that's good I guess. That should mean that Daunttless will have plenty of business

They probably have more people buying clips than they thought and are probably losing some cash, so they upped the price. To encourage people to have it installed at HT or just to recover some projected revenue. That's my guess.

Thats good for me I suppose, maybe I should up my prices too. : ) Or not.

Maybe that also means Unstable isn't really selling a CA18 for 1800 bucks, anyone know if they are or not?

Not sure about the CA, but a few weeks ago I called HT and they told me the same thing, $3100 for the clip. They also added that because it would be coming from Cali it would be $600-$700 for shipping in U.S. depending on where you are. I can't justify $3700 for a front clip! Unless....it came with good fenders, hood, bumper, headlights, and lots o' goodies under the hood.
