hey guys... my car has red top, T28 turbo, air intake, EVO 5 intercooler, 3" down pipe (no cat), 3" N1 cat-back... running 0.8~0.85kg of boost. When I'm driving around 1000~3500 RPM... it feels... slow and I'm talking about like a small KIA with 5 people sitting in it.. even turbo lag can't be that bad, can it?? it's only T28... not too big..I still get good power when full boost.. but be4 that... man.... -_-I drove my friend's car... I can feel the power be4 full boost

What things do I have to check to see if my car runs "normally"?like timing?? fuel system??

Thanks for help!!

You could just be running really rich until you hit wide open throttle. I can hit 7 psi around 2700rpm with my T28 and make around 175ft/lbs of torque at that point. Also, dont have too high expectations at low RPMS on a low-compression turbo motor.

try and check for a boost leak, and maybe the wastegate isnt working properly or not bolted down correctly. boost leak meaning pipes not connected properly or a split coupler for the intercooler piping

if there is a leak around intake system, then my car won't run smooth right? my car idel is not too bad, and normal driving is good.... all my piping seems pretty tight.

Check the main engine grounds as well as the one going to the fire wall from the head. Make sure the two little ones toward the rear of the intake manifold are tight as well. Check the plugs and wires going into all 4 coilpacks, and if you haven't changed plugs recently make sure they haven't been fouled. If you are running electric fans make sure they are run through a relay and not directly off the fuel pump fuse. Other than that check the obvious again, boost leaks, fuel pressure if you have a gauge, etc...

if everything is running smoothly and your jsut not getting power i'm willing to bet its a boost leak. whats your boost gauge reading when you take off?
