LOL you PA kids, I love how they advertise to visit your state right on your license plate. What I'm probably doing for my HB is spraying them red then slightly smoking them... like, 80-70% tint.

either that or something like this:

also this is an option if you don't want to spend $500 on JDM OEM

For real... lol @ old a$$ thread... but yeah, Tan crashed that car. Twice. In one month... He still has it and is parting it out. But he has a newer, nicer, more powerful Zenki now...

Matzinm2, I'd really look into the translucent red vinyl than Tan mentioned at the start of this thread. That's what Bushido did to his ebay altezza lights and they look vastly superior to the paint method. But I dunno about putting them on stock Zenki lights...

Is that paint, or transparent vinyl?

I have been thinking about trying out red and gray vinyl to do something like this.

Wow actually those red tinted ebay tails I like a lot.

This is the first time in history I've ever considered ebay tails good looking, even so that I might buy them someday :O

Thanks for the pic wetdreams lol... I think it actually looks more updated than 'kouki' tails with the inside housing light projectors or whatever you want to call it. Whether updated is a good or bad thing from the kouki design is for the end user to decide.

I've been considering something along the same lines... Instead of translucent vinyl for the middle portion, what about using opaque vinyl in black or body colored and then cut rhombus shaped holes where the reverse lights are? Just make the cut outs the same dimensions as kouki reverse lights. Voila... clear lense, kouki-styled reverse lights...

$50 to tint some tails? Wow. The vinyl itself only costs $10-15, that's a ripoff.

Has anyone on here tried doing anything with the black eurotails?

even though they look better, i've heard bad things about most ebay tail lights leaking and being crappy in general. i still don't like how they look tinted but thats me.

True. I haven't installed mine yet, but Busido recommended re-sealing them before you install them.

As long as you get the lights for cheap and are aware of what needs to be done to keep them from looking like crap, I say go for it.

But I know a guy that had the black altezza styled lights... He just popped off the 'glass' and left them open. I wish I had pics. They looked like a$$.
