On Friday. I have to wait for my bro to get back in town so we make the trip. Its like 4 hours away from me. Its a real clean car. Its a 2003 with every option avaliable. Ill post up pictures in the general chat once I get it. Whats your thought on the SMG?

Here is my friends 04 ///M. Its real nice.

He went from a v35 coupe then got the M, it stays stock because decent parts for it are mega expensive.

It's great, very smooth on normal mode. Once you set the set the shift aggressiveness to its 5 ticks it really feels like your driving a manual car with the absence of a clutch pedal. It's exhilarating. The harmon/kardon speakers are amazing.

Fun fact: He had to bring it in to replace a clutch and flywheel and it cost about $5,000.

Ya the one im looking at is Carbon black with the 19" competition wheels. At first I wasn't considering the SMG an option and just looking for a 6spd. Then I hung out with my brothers friend and he let me drive his around and it was a blast to drive. Shifts are so quick and smooth depending on the setting you have it on. And I can just imagine how it would be driving it at the track. Ya its going to cost more to maintain but it shouldn't be to bad. Thank god the family business is doing as good as it is

If it was me would stick with the 6 speed mt, yeah its quicker than a human at shifting but at the same time all your doing is pushing a pedal to the floor. Easy ftl.

That is a nice looking model, Those rims look sick. The only problem I have is the chrome trim around it, other than that its a beaut.

Whats happening to the 350?

Ya I agree with the chrome. Trust me once I started looking for an M3 I just wanted a 6spd mt coupe. But then I found this car thats fully loaded and at a great price. I spent the better part of this weekend reading and watching reviews on the SMG. Its not just about driving around town im also thinking about my track days.

Plus how can you say no to this interrior?

I sold the Z last week to some 16 year old kid. His dad drove the car around the parking lot for less then a minute and then his mom took the cash out of her purse and paid for it. Whole thing from when they showed up to when they left was an hour if that. And the thing that took the longest was counting all the cash.
