Red out tails?

Hi folks, I'm still somewhat new around the forum but I've managed to scout out some Versa's to take some ideas from. Particularly Atx_Versa and his Fresh Powder Hatch SL.
What I'm wondering is if any of you know what the process for replicating the tail lights he has would be. From what I figure, mask off the circles (turn signal and reverse) and then use VHT tint? Red for the signals and smoke for the reverse? Or is this a vinyl thing of some sort?
Personally, I wanted to PM him and find out from the master himself, but NicoClub won't allow me PM's until I've proven yourself out on the forums apparently...

I love white. My versa is silver but if it was up to me i would've gotten it in white.

As far as the lights go, I believe you can do either, meaning the tint or the spray. Im guessing the tint is easier.
