I have already done some research and everyone says how good the red line mt-90 gl-4 oil is, however I have a problem. I just did the change and now I grind gears between high rpm shifts. I have never had this problem before, even with the stock oil. has anyone else experienced this before. The transmission is filled so that it came out of the overflow, so too little oil is not the problem. 96 s14 "black on black"

go back to the stock oil. i have 75/90 super syn in mine with no noise but the short shifter rattling around. I hate that you'll be wasting all that money on the red line but if it wasn't broke before why fix it. nissan is pretty dope about doing things right. I suggest putting the factory recommended fluid back in it and if the noise is gone then you got your problem nipped in the but. if the noise persist then you have internal transmission issues. kind of cut and dry.

Redline MTL should fix the problem you're describing. It's a little thinner.
