As the title states, the red light in my RB20 ECU stays on all the time. I am trying to track down a wiring issue that is causing a h3ll of a draw on my battery. I noticed this so I thought some of you wiring geniuses might know why that is. I was going to go up tonight and work on it but the garage is like 30 degrees I think and I figured I post this and hit it in the morning.

ok to fix this problem u need to unrap the wiring for both the green relays near the ecu, no turn the ign. on and feel for them to click, only 1 will be clicking, now locate the orange (iirc) wire running between the 2 relays and to the ecu, cut the wire that is running to the relay that IS NOT clicking. problem should be solved.

So I cut the orange wire from the relay and it appears to have solves my problem. ECU light goes off when key is off and battery has held a charge of 12.64V since around 6pm. I will check it in the morning for the final test. If the car starts I'm happy.

I don't post on here much but I just fixed my car with this advice, you guys are incredible so Thanks! I had been unhooking the battery at nite
via quick lever on battery. I look to see my car running better too now since I hear the ECU learns how to act and behave as you go wich won't
happen if I unhook it every nite.
