What do you guys think? I don't anyone in the forums have this color scheme yet (all it is is the red under the bottom grille). And I don't think anyone with a red coupe had their bars cut off?

The annoying thing is the gap at the grille that everyone had an issue with. I still don't know how to fix it and the body shop I went to doesn't know either. They said they needed to section off that sagging piece and move it up which was going to cost more money and more time. I think its bullsh*t. I've seen what people said about wedging 2 metal bars underneath the support brace but I still have got no idea what that means. Anyone in Rochester or Albany with an Altima Coupe and Stillen Fascia wanna meet up?

hmm reminds me of Huessin's car but in red lol. Looks a lot like the sedan front end. Personally, I like the bars better but I still think it looks clean.

Looks clean, I'd black out the Nissan Emblem in the front and get some coil overs if I were you

What size are your rims? and is it legal to have your license plate in your car like that?

I have 20" Boss 340 rims on with 245/35/20 tires. I don't think it's legal to have my plates like that on but I'm going to put it on tommorrow. Not sure where yet.

I was thinking about blacking out my emblem but I wanted a bit more stock feel with the stillen fascia. Oh and I'm saving up for coils. I'm just worried about speed bumps and railroad tracks here, but I'm still considering.

The next thing I might do is black vinyl overlay for the roof. Anyone knows how much it costs?

Yeah go for the coils! I think you should leave the front emblem the way it is. It just looks right because of your headlights or get color matched eyelids and then black out the emblem :P

The bars are okay to me. I didnt like it or dislike it.I would like it if I can keep the emblem on it though. I like more of a clean stock look than aftermarket. I can't stand the stock bumper though (the honeybee comb grille and mustache is hideous). After I saw what Hussein did, I thought that is the clean stock (with a little aftermarket) look I'm looking for. And if I don't stick emblem on, it would look too plain on the grille.

I love it; look great. Now you need black housing headlights, also have you thought about painting the Nissan burger red?

Well I was thinking about putting a black vinyl tint on the roof. How much does that cost? Instead of getting black housing in the headlights, would tinting them look as good or no?

I tinted my headlights with 35% and if I could tint worth a crap I would have kept it on, because it looks a ton better. You obviously lose light output too, but it was still ok. The roof vinyl looks great; I put the roof vinyl on my red coupe over a year ago, and I think it looks great on the red. Also means one less body part to worry about polishing and waxing when detailing your car. I'm not sure what it will cost you; I got mine for the price of material because I was good friends in school with the guy that did mine, and I helped. I think it will usually range from $150 - $250, but that is Alabama pricing.

Thanks!

I need another opinion from everyone, I was thinking about powdercoating my rims gunmetal later. Do you guys think the gunmetal look for my red coupe is better or the red lip is better? I think gunmetal with red lug nuts would look sweet but I can't tell if they would look good on my rims.

Anyone photoshops? Lol

IMO I think it looks better the way it is. But I would change the headlight housing to black

Hey!
IMO coils if you live that far north are just a mistake and will cause ongoing issues with all the snow.
Tint your windows.
NYS regulations say that your plate being in the windshield is 100% not legal! Cut the bottom and top a bit and shove it in the lower grill area
The vinyl to cover your roof will be cheap, if you are willing to do it in two pieces met in the middle it will be even cheaper... one piece will run you maybe $100... install is the cost.
Get the eyelids for the headlights for a cheaper fix over opening them up...

Someone please link to the stillen front bumper fix, i dont know who did it.

Yea, I just found out why the sag. Or at least it could be the reason. The shop didn't follow the directions and did not put the steel bracket from the stock bumper into the new bumper. The gap was alot bigger before than it was now and I feel he kind of busted my balls on this one cuz I paid 600 for everything (paint, install, and he claims he had to "customize fit the grille" since the fitment was so off and that Stillen produce a design flawed bumper). I'm a little pissed off right now.

Now the question is, will the steel bracket itself hold up and close the gap?

Hey quick questions guys, do you think it's tacky to add LED strips on the fins of the front bumper? Just wondering how it would look. I mean I've seen it on other cars but I don't think I saw it on a red one before so not sure what to think.

I think that looks pretty slick as long as you flush mount them from behind.

It will look like Christmas tree lights, and that's assuming that you actually make them perfectly straight (many AC owners don't bother...)

Many better areas to spend money
