1992 Nissan 240SX convertible with a RB20DET and five-speed conversion. I have been driving this car for about a year now and it has been a blast.

The top was replaced last fall and is still in new condition. The motor had 61,000 mi. at the time of installation. It now has about 69,000. The car has about 176,000 mi. on it but all the brakes and tie rod and ball joints are in good shape.

When I installed the motor in the car it got a new exedy sport clutch, new timing belt, and waterpump. I also had the exhaust manifold resurfaced and replaced the gaskets at the head and the gaskets to the Turbo. I am using the RB cross frame with custom motor mounts that set the engine down and back about an inch. The motor has no issues with clearing the hood and the gear shift lever is dead center in the hole. The tires are in good shape, and power top works perfect. The exhaust is a 2 1/2 inch exhaust with a performance muffler. All the wiring was professionally done along with a converter for the tac, so all the gauges work accurately.

This car is a blast to put top-down and hit the interstate or run down the back roads , the torque of the six-cylinder engine makes the car a blast to drive. It has been driven as my daily driver. In town I get 20 to 23 mi. to the gallon, and when driving it straight highway I am averaging about 28. I just recently took it on a 12 hour trip to Florida and the car performed flawlessly.

The paint is the original paint it has a scratch down the left rear fender the clearcoat is coming loose on the top right rear fender and front bumper, the spoilers got a couple of places the paint has chipped off and has a couple of places that look like somebody opened the door into it.

I'm working on another convertible 240, and it will be ready soon, so I am getting rid of this one to make room. I'm wanting to get about $5400 for it. I'm willing to deliver it so long as it's a reasonable trip from Virginia. Understand that I'll ask for some compensation to drop the car off.

Man, I was just thinking yesterday that I know I saw someone with a red RB vert and how much I'd love to have something other than the KA. Would love to buy this if I could get the 2k difference between what I could sell mine for and what you want for yours lol...

$5k is too low a price for this car.
